   Neptune Marine Products was created in 1987 by the father and son team of Bob and Ed Wyman. The Wyman's had invented an entrance/retention device called the Cod Trigger to catch cod in modified  king crab traps. They started Neptune to manufacture and market their new device. Over the years and around the world, Neptune's patented components have been used to develop a variety of entrance devices used in fish, crab and lobster traps. These entrance devices are called Triggers and can be made in a many different shapes and sizes using the specialized components. In addition to Neptune's unique entrance devices, we also sell other products that might be of interest to trap fishermen: galvanic timed releases, bait bag material, and Dycem Non-Slip Products.
Neptune Marine has a history of working with fishermen, trap makers and retailers to expand the use of our product lines. We continue to develop, and look for, unique products to offer fishermen around the world. We sell direct and also sell products through trap makers and marine supply dealers.
