Step 1. Attach cinch line with loop on one end to trap. Make sure that the length of the cinch line is less than the distance between the coil of float line and the attachment point of the float line on the trap. This will assure that the cinch line restrains the float and coil line in place. Otherwise the coil of line will slip.

Step 2. Coil float line making at least three small coils at the float end. These small coils will tighten around the cinch line when tensioned by the float and hold the coil of float line in place.

Step 3. Bend open one eye on the GTR.

Step 4. Pass loop on cinch line through un-opened eye on GTR

Step 5. Pass cinch line through and around all coils of float line, then hook end of cinch line loop into opened GTR eye.

Step 6. Cinch line tightened around eye on GTR. Trap is now readynto be set. Float, line and cinch will remain this way until GTR releases.
